The almonds come from the regenerative landscape of Altiplano Estepario, which stretches across the provinces of Granada, Almería, and Murcia.

The region was severely degraded in the past by intensive agriculture and drought. In 2014, the AlVelAl initiative was launched with the aim of restoring more than a million hectares of land using regenerative practices.
